Here's a fun little film produced in 1938 that shows some clips of actual radio recordings while it also tells a story. We see and hear a radio show being made, then we see what a little boy is imagining while he is listening. The clip spends quite a few minutes on the production of the sound effects -- which must have been as fascinating to the listeners in 1938 as they are to us today. Another fun thing is seeing one guy doing both voices in a conversation.

No OTR Detectives in this one but this little movie is fun and interesting anyway.
